Don Yenko’s COPO 9561 was a groundbreaking modification, essentially turning the Camaro into a powerhouse by fitting it with the formidable Corvette’s solid-lifter L72 V8 engine. On the other hand, Fred Gibbs’ COPO 9560 took a different route, featuring an all-aluminum engine known as the ZL-1, purposefully designed for drag racing.
